Kathmandu. India has made it clear that it will not comment further on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's remarks about Ayodhya and Lord Ram.


Responding to a question from reporters at a regular media briefing at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said he would not comment further on the matter.
Spokesperson Srivastava said that he would not comment further as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal has already given an explanation in this regard.
He said, "Everyone in the world knows about India's vast and rich cultural heritage and I do not want to comment further as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal has already given an explanation."

After Prime Minister Oli's remarks about Ayodhya became controversial, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement stating that it was not a political issue and was not intended to hurt anyone's feelings.
